A tarped flatbed trailer, sometimes know as a Conestoga, uses a rolling tarp system secured to a trailer to protect cargo during transport and reduce risk of injury to the driver.
Our fleet of 53' tarped flatbed trailers provide easy access to cargo. This ease of access reduces the length of time required to load or unload cargo, and possible exposure to the elements.
The rolling tarp is deployed using a mechanical control mechanism that allows the driver to easily open and close the tarp as needed, without having to climb on the trailer. This helps reduce the risk of injury to the driver.

Because the rolling tarping system never touches the cargo, the tarp is less prone to wear, offering the cargo better protection against the elements and road debris. The driver can easily open and close the tarp in less than three minutes. When the tarp is retracted, it offers support for front, rear, or side loading configurations, similar to a traditional flatbed trailer capable of transporting an extensive array of cargo.
