Once upon a groovy time in the late 70s, we sprang into action to bring baby formula joy to the babies of Baltimore. Our journey began with a rad straight truck that cruised through the city. In 1981, the Interstate Commerce Commission placed in service our Common Carrier operating authority. We took a quantum leap into the intermodal drayage space, leveling up to class-A status with the acquisition of Starboard in 1985.
From that point on, our mission was crystal clear – to give importers an out-of-this-world transportation experience! As the 2000s rolled in, we expanded our arsenal of awesomeness to include vans, flatbeds, drop trailers, dedicated break bulk vessel transfer services, and inland deliveries of cargo.
Fast forward to today, and Terminal Transportation Services is still all about delivering a customer experience that keeps our customers coming back for more. We've cranked up the dial and now cover 150 air-miles (from Baltimore) and beyond. And guess what? We handle more import volume from the Port of Baltimore than any other trucking company in the universe.
